Thursday 072210 – Deadlift

Deadlift 3×3, then:

150 Kettlebell swings for time (53/36), perform 5 box jumps on the top of every minute – 12 minute time limit.

    Oly class
    1 power clean, 2 hanging cleans – 95, 135, 145, 155, 175
    1 power snatch, 2 hanging snatches – 85, 95, (105), 85, 105

    Got just 1 hang clean at 175 but it felt good. I was forced to “get underneath” it
    I really need to work on my overhead squats. Definitely a limiting factor.

    Deadlift – 365-375-375, metcon 10:52 rx’d, first class I’ve been able to do in a while, very painful but good to be back. I’ve done on average 1 metcon a week for the past 10 weeks during a pretty focused strength cycle, and on my own the intensity was probably 75% of what today was.
