Tuesday 081010 – CrossFit Total

1 Rep max lift for the following exercises:
Back Squat
Press
Deadlift

Perform 2-3 warm-up sets for each exercise, and then you have 3 attempts to find your 1 rep max for each lift. The total is the weight of all three lifts added up.

Read Mark Rippetoe’s CrossFit Journal article explaining the CrossFit Total for rules on each lift and how the Total should be conducted.

    865, plus 55 from the last time I did at Minneapolis. PR’s in all 3.

    424 = 158 BS + 63 Press + 203 DL (down 6# from previous 5/22 attempt :( )

    240 Back Squat
    115 Press
    275 Deadlift

    630 total
    I mis-calculated my press and only have 620 on the board. On the way home I realized that 2-35 lb plates plus 45 pound bar is 115 not 105. PR’s in all 3. This is my first CFT

    255 Back Squat + 135 Press + 335 Deadlift = 725 PR in Deadlift, first ever CFT
