    Two days in a row at 6:30 am is a bear. Not The Bear, which I actually would have preferred. Per Andrea’s recommendation, instead of using a band, I scaled the reps on pull-ups down to six and did them unassisted. Still ended up dropping off the bar after every rep in the last two sets. Ended up with 7 and 5 DLs, which were Rx.

    Dead lift at 153. Six rounds + five DLs on the WOD … and finally making progress on unassisted kipping pull-ups.

    - That was a huge energy suck! Jebus.

    8 rounds … Pullups were better but could still use major work

    PS- Saw Captain America at the midnight show last night at it was pure pulpy comic book fun. Total recommend!

    7 rds + 4 Deadlifts Rx
    Pullups were ridiculously slower than usual.

    I second the recommendation for Tree of Life on the big screen. A very cool journey of images, score, and story, although if it I saw it on my tv on dvd (small screen) I’d probably fall asleep in the first 5 minutes. The sound and images of the big screen buoy the enigma.

    Nursing an injured neck so I subbed ring rows for pullups…
    5×213 on the DL, then 10 rounds + 10 ring rows on the WOD w/ DLs at 163.

    Every pull up is a challenge still…but I will not let that hold me back. i miss the red band.

    I’m running warrior dash at 2 my brothers at 4. We have a big group and have two cancellations. Not sure how to use their slot but maybe we can make something happen if someone wants to run let me know.
