It was awesome to see a familiar face at 5:30 am Ian !!! I was cursing the fact thta I had to set my alarm for 4:55, but the workout was fantastic and now I am so happy that my workout is finished for the day. My arms are still sore from a few days ago so I felt like my PCs and Pull-ups were no where near perfect. But I am guessing that will come with time.
I disagree with Ian regarding the music- anytime Guns n Roses November Rain plays- you know it is going to be a great day

i’ve been working alot on stretching past few weeks and its made a huge difference, my front squats were much better today than they were just 2 weeks ago. highly recommend checking out mobilitywod.com for a daily 10-15 min stretch, and mobility wods (MWods) are a lot less taxing than Wods

@Ian Carioca is Portuguese for a person from Rio de Janerio the capital of Brazil. Karaoke is from Japaneses and at its core is singing to relive stress with booze added. Hence (of course unencumbered by the thought process) since the movement is dance like and there is no singing or alcohol involved my vote is for carioca. and from seeing you move with fluidity and lightness this morning I would say you looked like you were from Rio.
I’m pretty sure Brasilia is the capital of Brazil.
@Jess I betray my age and lack of education with that one. when i learned georgaphy with apparently really old textbooks Rio was the capital of Brazil. But now of course it is Brasilia since 1960. but remember the post was not meant to be informative, relied on for travel advice or mediated by some cognitive process.

Up to 153 on the front squat, 17:27 rx for the wod. My first early morning visit to cfsp! Glad got this wod out of the way, I would have been dreading cleans all day if I had gone this afternoon
So close to getting 113 on FS. Did a solid 108 which was a PR compared to my previous 103(doing triples). 73 for cleans and used that tiny red band for pullups. 19:39 I think. I really enjoyed this workout.
