Sunday – 103011 – Tire Flips, Sand Bag Carry…

Warm-up:

400 M Run
15 Burpees
15 Lunges

For time, in teams of two:

50 Tire Flips
1 Mile Sand Bag Carry
50 Tire Flips
1 Mile Sand Bag Carry

There is no rule on how many tire flips each athlete must complete, or who has to carry the sandbag. Athletes can alternate between carrying the sandbag and running without it at any point and as many times as desired. The workout must progress in this order and cannot be segmented in any other way than the way it is listed above. Athletes must stay together at all times during the workout.

    Partnered up with Cal, he flew through those tire flips and manhandled that 100#…. Tire flips proved a bit difficult for me if I didn’t open up the hip and get under the tire as quickly.

    worked on some muscle ups since I haven’t done these in a while :)

    Back squat triples during open gym up to 265, then did the 20x200m rowing interval with Todd P, 17:24. Great work Todd!
