U.S. Army Sergeant Jason A. Santora, of Farmingville, New York, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, based out of Fort Benning, Georgia, died in Logar province, Afghanistan on April 23, 2010, from wounds sustained during a firefight with insurgents. He is survived by his parents Gary and Theresa, and sister Gina.

    171 Rx. This was not exactly the nice, easy return to crossfit I had hoped after a few long, sleepless nights but its good to have it behind me. FGB style workouts are still my Achilles heel.

    Two of my little ones woke up this morning so I had to get them back to sleep. I was running late, looked outside, saw snow and almost didn’t go. But I’m so glad I did. This WOD looks daunting on the board, but it’s fun and goes fast!

    Just for clarification…we have to set the bar down between each jerk? Or do we pick it up once off the floor and then go from there?

    I feel that was the right amount of painful. 178. on the last round i finally figured out to go all out on what youre good at to save yourself from doing the 1 or 2 more reps of the thing youre not good at.

    back squat 3 x 10 @ 235

    S&C: Been a while since I’ve done cleans, 155, 175, 185, 185, 195. Actually felt pretty good. Too cautious on clean pulls @205 but was significantly weaker by reps 4 and 5. 3 x 10 squats @ 195. Dead hang pulls- 20, 12, 9-grip went early
