10:55 Rx on WOD. Shoulders were just COOKED from yesterday’s workout, and started to feel a little discomfort in my lower back. Wanted to get under 10, not sure if that’s realistic…but someone do it! Great job today 630am class! Always nice to have a good crowd in the morning.

TODAY’S DECEMBEARD STATUS: Chris Powers is waffling.
People stop me on the street all the time and say, “Jon, I hear a lot about Decembeard, and I’d like to know more.” I’d like to take a moment here in the CFSP comments to answer a few of the most common questions I hear about Decembeard.
Q: What is Decembeard, anyway?
A: Decembeard is a movement and, in many ways, a way of life. We aim to get Chris Powers to grow a beard like a man this December.
Q: Why Chris Powers?
A: He’s always talking about how awesome his beard is, but as of yet he refuses to grow one in public. Decembeard is his opportunity to put his beardmoney where his beardmouth is.
Q: This is intriguing. How may I participate in the Decembeard movement?
A: If you see a beardless Chris Powers, please heckle him at every opportunity about his lack of a beard. If a man, or a particularly hirsute woman, you may also grow a beard in solidarity with the aims of Decembeard.
Q: But the heckling is really the important part, right?
A: Now you’re getting into the Decembeard spirit!
Q: Who else supports the Decembeard movement?
A: Mike Jones has publicly stated his support of Decembeard. And though we haven’t asked them, we assume such celebrities as TV’s Alan Thicke and RATT guitarist Warren DeMartini support Decembeard as well.
Q: Thank you for your time. I’m on board.
A: No, thank you, for your support. If we stand together, Decembeard can meet its goals.
