@TQ Was the wall ball also in fact a found rock? Because that would make your workout even more interesting.

My ego needed a little boost after Andrea called me soft during the 5:30 A.M. class on Friday so I decided to tackle King Kong once again. After watching the Neslers duke it out I was inspired and enthusiastic - probably a little much so, as I tried to rush through the workout and missed a muscle up and a squat snatch in the third round. I managed to eek out just under 4 minutes at 3:57 Rx, which is a whole lot better than my previous time of 8:20 in November. Still, things should have gone faster as I finished round two by 1:40.

Afterwards, bench 3x5 @ 265. All in all a nice little Saturday at open gym.

4:53 Rx*

* did the wod at a park with a tree as my wall ball target. Was it ten feet high? Who can say... Was it actually sixty meters? Perhaps it was seventy. Perhaps it was fifty. One thing is certain, however: my legs are cooked. Short sprints are great!

150 burpees: 15:46

That time included stopping several times to try and figure out a way to not get rug burns on my knees. Note to self: carpet + burpees = BAD

WOD 5:30 Rx. Felt really good today, and I beat Alison, which is a rare occurrence. So I have that going for me.

I am at my parents' house in IL and I am about to do 150 burpees. Okay, I am procrastinating from doing 150 burpees, but by announcing it here, hopefully I will actually do them within the next hour.

Also, spellcheck is telling me burpee is not a real word. Therefore, I'm pretty sure that means they don't exist and we should never have to do them again, right?
