Wow that was intense! 32:51, that’s a long WOD and a great way to finish out the week.

Factor in Tuesday’s WoD, which absolutely destroyed my back, today’s WoD wasn’t too bad. I was pretty exhasted at the end. Half of the movements affect your lower back, so they were a bit more difficult to get through. Good way to jumpstart the weekend. Great performance by the 630am class!

32:55. Feels good when its done but 150 jump ropes have never been so painful.

Have a good weekend Cross fitters, see you Sunday morning for Endurance.

Great 9am class! Sarah and Andrea thanks for the push!

Mike H and Coaches: When I look at those photos, it looks like he is literally pushing the bar up and out with his body when he extends his hips. I have always tried to just keep it close, not actually push with the extension. Am I looking at the photos wrong, or doing it wrong?

Seasoned lifters probably develop their own styles and may look like they have “bad form” yet they still out-lift us by mile.

Yoga last night at CFSP was a good start in developing flexibility. But the next time Chris Powers ‘turns the heat on’ someone need to to check his work. Brrr.

Greg pretty much nailed it. I have nothing to add other than Donnie Shankle can do pretty much whatever Donnie Shankle wants.

25:31 rx @cfmpls 5:30, great way to start the weekend! I beat my previous pr for filthy fifty yet still feel like I rested too much, especially on the wall balls.

Thanks to Ian and Brandon for the tips on KTE, they helped a lot! Too bad I only had 10 left….. Pretty sure I did 50 burpees, but was so excited to nearly be done that I lost track in the mid 40s.

Last July it took me 40 minutes cause I was stubborn about my just learned double unders…

  13. Mike H Apr 20, 2012 / 10pm

Note to self – never squat before filthy fifty. It makes wallballs and burpees that much more fun. Also, double unders are exponentially harder when both calves cramp up severely after each rep.
25 something or 26 something Rx, not sure. 50 double unders, which would normally take me about a minute, took almost 5, as I literally was doing 2 or 3 at a time jumping from my heels to try to avoid cramping up.
