I can feel it working. That 25 burpeee finisher finished me. To a say the least running with a med ball was difficult. Very difficult.

WoD: 18:16 Rx

Other than the fact that these WoD's are specific to a service member who was killed in action, they are meant to be challenging. The segmented running portions of the WoD are difficult in being able to find a comfortable position for a large MB while your shoulders are slowly becoming more and more fatigued. On top of that, the push, pull, push, pull, push cadence of the movements causes the shoulders to burn out quickly. Like I said, hero WoD's are difficult and taxing, you just have to get through it mentally. Solid performances by the 630am crew...as always.

No extra weight on the pullups
2 ab mats on the HSPU

My pullups/chinups were nasty. The ghost of Saturdays workout was heavy on my shoulders.

Holy crap, that was hard. I thought I was being smart by carrying one of the smaller bouncy med balls on the run but it was hard on my shoulder. But, but run #3 and #4 I was so tired that it didn't matter where I carried it - everything hurt. I don't remember having ever muscle in my body tired after a workout before. Strategy: don't think, just keep going.
