High five to Endurance coaches Brandon and Andrea for leading seven CFSP/CFMPLS athletes in the 5K race this morning. Brandon won and Andrea was the #4 female!
Just bought my tickets for Regionals!!
Way to go, Andrea and Brandon! Woo! You’re both an inspiration. A lightning fast inspiration disappearing off into the distance ahead of me…
Someday I hope to be able to do the funky chicken drill as well as you guys.
245 just couldn’t lock out 255.
8rds even Rx on the WOD, which sucked… and that is good I guess.
C+J: 245#, ran out of time
WoD: 8 + 32 Rx
135# is still comfortable enough to get in the rhythm of doing clusters, and I think that really caused some fatigue on my shoulders as the WoD wore on. Tried to do as many jerks as possible. Was an amazing triplet…never fails at how tired the FS/thruster motion tires you out. AMRAP’s are quite the treat!
Jerk to 205. Cleaned 225, but could not get it overhead.
WOD 5 rnds plus 10 DU rx. Could not get in a rhythm on pull ups.
c&j:185; 2 failed attempts w/195; metcon 4 even Rx; 4 rounds of unbroken pull-ups (which is something entirely new to me); double-unders continue to irritate – especially my skin.
C&J: 215#, failed 225 on jerk
WOD: 6 rounds Rx, spent 20 seconds tightening my shorts and way too much time walking back and forth between the pull-up bar and jump rope.
