Wednesday – 053012 – Front Squat, Thrusters, Push-ups…

May 29th, 2012 by tkquinn

Saw this. Liked this…

Front Squat:

1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1

8 cycles through the following Tabata triplet, for total reps:

Tabata Thrusters (45/33)
Tabata Thrusters (45/33)
Tabata Push-ups

In the end, athletes will have completed sixteen Tabata intervals of thrusters, and eight Tabata intervals of push-ups. The single intervals of Tabata push-ups will always follow two intervals of Tabata thrusters.

Post thoughts and total reps to “comments”.

Didn’t think I would be able to do a push up for at least a week after Memorial day, but go through today somehow. Key focus is to just keep moving throughout a tabata style workout. Get through the movement, and don’t think about the time. Not that this really matters, but after the WoD, it seems like it may be easier to just count the total reps in your head since the WoD is scored this way. Great job today 630am crew!
