Friday – 081012 – Back Squat, Couplets…

Back Squat:

AMRAP – 2 Minutes  

Athletes will spend two minutes at each couplet. The rep scheme will always be 5 reps of each movement. There is no transition time allocated between couplets.

1) Box Jumps (24/20) / Air Squats
2) Push-ups / Pull-ups
3) WB Shots (20/14) / MB Cleans (20/14)
4) DB Push Press / DB Hang Clean
5) Walking Lunge / Burpee
6) KB Swings (53/35) / Sit-ups
7) Thrusters (45/33) / TTB

This workout will take exactly 14 minutes from start to finish. The score will be total rounds for each individual couplet, but for the sake of white-board space, coaches will take total (cumulative) round totals.

    I needed about 5 seconds in between movements to try to keep track of my total rounds. Otherwise, I loved it.

    Not much left in the tank for the TTB. 22 rounds +/- 3??

    Squat to 425 with a few back-off sets at 405.
    WoD: 35+5 Rx. I can handle wallballs exactly 5 at a time.
